1987 BMW 3 Series 325e

This is next up, number two of the three e30’s I will be selling. 1987 BMW 325e 5 speed manual in Lapisblau exterior over Pearl Beige interior. Overall the car is in pretty good shape, I just performed a ton of baseline maintenance over the last few weeks as well as a one step paint correction and some trim repainting etc. It runs and drives well, and rust is minimal. It has some typical/very common e30 gripes but most of the large work has been completed and what remains is minor by comparison. Maintenance completed within last 50 miles Replaced the timing belt and water pump, and converted the water pump to studs in the process Replaced all of the main rubber engine coolant hoses Replaced the radiator fan clutch 4 new tires mounted and balanced Rear brake hardlines replaced Brand new Brake rotors and pads on all 4 corners All rubber brake lines replaced on all 4 corners Replacement of entire clutch hydraulic system, this includes the clutch fluid hose from the reservoir to the master cylinder, the master cylinder itself, the slave cylinder and I also upgraded the slave cylinder hose from rubber to a stainless steel braided line. Dashboard cap installed by previous owner Adjusted throttle position switch Replaced both accessory belts Replaced air intake boot Performed vacuum test after replacing the intake boot, no leaks are present Otherwise, all 4 shocks are in good shape and are not blown, the power steering system is workin well and not leaking heavily like they sometimes do, there are no oil leaks from the engine and no coolant leaks either. Required repairs The windshield wiper motor turns on, but the wiper regulator has a broken arm so the wipers do not function. I have sourced a complete wiper regulator assembly with another working motor which will be included with the sale so that just needs to be installed The heater blower motor does not work, either the motor itself is bad or just the resistor, I just have not had time to replace them because I have a 3rd e30 that still needs to be fixed and posted for sale. I’m including a known working replacement blower motor so that just needs installed as well Both passenger side windows work, the drivers side rear window goes down but does not go back up so that is currently unplugged, may just need a new switch Drivers side window does not go up or down Windshield is cracked Gauge cluster fuel gauge is intermittent (typical e30 gauge cluster stuff) Has some slight rust, much much better than most north east e30’s. Has a 90% clean battery tray with no big holes. Floor pans, shock towers, fenders, rockers etc are in really good condition but it has two small patches on each rear wheel arch etc , photos of the rust are included in the ad. At some point, the very forward edge of the hood and front fenders was touched up to eliminate paint chips but 90% of the cars paint is original otherwise. Ultimately the few things that need replaced listed above are fairly basic “remove and replace” jobs that can be done in your garage with a couple of beers.
